This is a charming 18th century one acre walled garden. Visit to Langton Farm
This is a designer's garden created since 2000 by Annabel and Richard Fife. It includes a romantic flower garden with mixed borders, formal and informal gravel gardens, nuttery and pebble pool. It has been featured in the English Garden and Gardens Illustrated. We were fortunate to be given a guided tour by Annabel.
See below for a slide show of some photos from the visit.
Tuesday 30 May
Guided tour with the Head Gardener of Wynyard Hall Gardens TS22 5NF
The gardens have been intricately designed and created by multi RHS award-winning landscape architect Alistair Baldwin, advised by Michael Marriott of David Austen roses. The walled garden contains 3000 roses, all beautifully set off by carefully selected shrubs, trees and perennials, artistic water features and perfect hard landscaping. The subtle colour plan is a joy but never obtrusive. www.wynyardhall.co.uk
