Visit to the garden of Alan Middup and Michael Harris, Groveberry Cottage,

The garden at Groveberry is only 3 years old. Michael and Alan started out with only a bare patch of grass, an exposed oil tank, a few conifers and a large slab of concrete.  Their rabbit proofed allotment is located opposite the house in a friend's field.

Visit to the garden of Viscount and Baroness Eccles at Moulton Hall

Moulton Hall is a National Trust property open to the public by special arrangement. It has a well presented garden situated within a large estate of around 25 acres.

Visit to the garden of Ed and Sue Atkinson, The Old Farm House, Moulton

A traditional English garden, designed and planted by Sue and her gardener, Daniel Kilvington Mason. There are beds of colourful perennials such as poppies, iris and foxgloves, a cutting garden, a small wood and curving lawns. Topiary and garden structures add to the garden's many delights. Julie has created a beautifully designed and planted private garden which is just delightful. Trees, lawns, pond and flowering perennials mingle harmoniously to make a joyous whole. Photos in the slide show are courtesy of Marcia Howard.
